Prieur du Plessis

Prieur is Board Chairman of Just South Africa. He is a Doctor of Business Administration, ex-chair of the Institute of Directors in South Africa, member of the Advisory Board of Stellenbosch Business School and a widely quoted expert on Corporate Governance. He is the founder and CEO of the investment and consulting business, Plexus. He serves as chair of and non-executive director on boards and board committees of public and private companies, primarily in insurance and other financial services. Prieur is also the Honorary Consul General of Slovenia for South Africa and Deputy Dean of the Consular Corps of Cape Town.

Deane Moore

Deane is a qualified actuary with over 30 years’ experience. He developed Metropolitan’s original with-profit annuity product and South Africa’s first inflation-linked annuity product. Deane has extensive local and international experience in corporate development and strategy, marketing and investment services. Prior to starting Just in South Africa, he held senior positions at MMI Group,  PricewaterhouseCoopers and Friends Provident (UK).

Paul Turner

Paul is Managing Director, Retail of Just Group and is responsible for all of the Group's retail businesses in UK and South Africa. Paul previously led Just Group's mortgage, corporate development and international divisions. Prior to joining Just Retirement in 2014, he held various senior international roles at Swiss Re in Asia and Australia. He has over 25 years of insurance industry experience and is both an executive director and non-executive director of a number of Just Group’s subsidiary companies.

Zuhdi Abrahams

Zuhdi is a qualified Chartered Accountant, previously Partner in Charge of the Cape Town office, Financial Services Leader and part of the Leadership Group at pwc. He has extensive experience in local and global financial services (including insurance, investment management and private equity). Zuhdi served on the Africa Governance Board and has chaired various pwc governance committees. He currently acts as an independent non-executive director in insurance and recovery funds.

Gysbert Pienaar

Gysbert is the Financial Director and has 20 years’ experience at executive and senior management level in the banking and insurance industry. He has worked in various parts of Africa and joined Just in April 2017 after seven years as COO of LibFin. Gysbert is a qualified chartered accountant and is responsible for the Finance, Risk and HR functions at Just.
