Prieur du Plessis

Prieur is Board Chairman of Just South Africa. He is a Doctor of Business Administration, ex-chair of the Institute of Directors in South Africa, member of the Advisory Board of Stellenbosch Business School and a widely quoted expert on Corporate Governance. He is the founder and CEO of the investment and consulting business, Plexus. He serves as chair of and non-executive director on boards and board committees of public and private companies, primarily in insurance and other financial services. Prieur is also the Honorary Consul General of Slovenia for South Africa and Deputy Dean of the Consular Corps of Cape Town.

Deane Moore

Deane is a qualified actuary with over 30 years’ experience. He developed Metropolitan’s original with-profit annuity product and South Africa’s first inflation-linked annuity product. Deane has extensive local and international experience in corporate development and strategy, marketing and investment services. Prior to starting Just in South Africa, he held senior positions at MMI Group,  PricewaterhouseCoopers and Friends Provident (UK).

Tom Evans

Tom is Managing Director at Just Group plc, responsible for the Group's retail businesses in the UK and South Africa. He combines customer-led thinking, commercial acumen and a strong focus on execution to grow businesses. 

Tom has a wealth of experience from the Financial Services sector, most recently holding the position of Managing Director and UK Executive Committee member for Canada Life’s Retirement business. Prior to Canada Life, Tom held positions in Ernst & Young, Phoenix Group and Stonehaven, where he was Managing Director prior to its acquisition by Canada Life. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Zuhdi Abrahams

Zuhdi is a qualified Chartered Accountant, previously Partner in Charge of the Cape Town office, Financial Services Leader and part of the Leadership Group at pwc. He has extensive experience in local and global financial services (including insurance, investment management and private equity). Zuhdi served on the Africa Governance Board and has chaired various pwc governance committees. He currently acts as an independent non-executive director in insurance and recovery funds.
