Just SA supports a better later life
In celebration of the International Day of Older Persons in October, Just SA has taken a commendable step to enrich and uplift the 60-plus community.
Recognising the contributions and needs of older individuals, Just SA endorses Marilyn Hallett’s YEI platform, and are current sponsors of a special Coastal Radio segment dedicated to you.
Marilyn co-hosts a section of the Coastal Radio show titled “Rewind” with Martin Nel, the owner and station manager of Coastal Radio. This 30-minute show is live every Monday at 10am. Coastal Radio is a bilingual independent online radio station that was established in 2015. With a listenership of between 280 000 and 350 000 per month, it is one of the most listened to online radio stations in South Africa.
Just SA and YEI have a long-standing relationship. Now, they are using the power of radio to ensure that valuable information reaches a wide audience.
This initiative is more than just a sponsorship; it is a heartfelt commitment to inform, educate, and support the 60-plus community. The radio segment features carefully curated topics that address the diverse aspects of aging. From health and wellness tips to financial education and social engagement, the content is designed to empower you with the knowledge and resources you need to lead a fulfilling later life.
Listeners can tune in weekly to hear expert interviews, practical advice, and inspiring, relatable stories.
This initiative is an example of Just SA’s commitment to social responsibility and their recognition of the importance of supporting older persons in our society. As we celebrate the International Day of Older Persons, let us acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of organisations such as YEI that are making a difference in the lives of this community.
